Why do we fall in love so easy?

Why do we ignite flames so early?

Why do we tell ourselves that we love,

When we only just lust?

We're young and in a haste,

Hurrying to grow up so fast, we forget to live.

We ignite flames and quench them so quick, it hurts.

We pretend to endure the pain, 

Our hearts so tender; we smile amidst tears.

If only we could be adults before we were young,

We'd live through our grief and fears,

We'd endure till we forgot all pain and hurt

And our pieces would mould back together,

Just in time, for us to live.

And Then we'll become soft and tender.

Only then would we know better;

To look before we leap,

To wait till we love,

Rather than lust all the way.

We'll take our time and be careful to live;

We'll ignite flames when the time is right,

Flames that'll never quench.

We'll Live.Love.Laugh, till eternity,

Cos we didn't fall in love so easy...
